Piano SpaceJoin Sue Underwood of Mystic Moon Beads for a fun and creative hands-on beading experience!
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll design and create your own unique jump ring bracelet while learning the techniques needed to bring your vision to life.
Each student will select their own beads and a beautiful lampwork bead or button to complement their design. Sue will guide you step by step through bead placement, design, and layout, while teaching a unique “knitting” technique using beads and jump rings.
You’ll also learn proper stringing and knotting techniques, how to securely finish your bracelet, and the final steps of assembly. With plenty of guidance along the way, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind bracelet designed and crafted by you!
For adults. Registration required. Please contact Ari at apappas@minlib.net with any questions.
About the Presenter:
Sue has dabbled in many different forms of art in her lifetime, but when she was introduced to glass and lampworking in 1986, it was love at first sight! Glass is an expression of her thoughts and ideas- she loves the colors, shapes, textures and patterns that can be formed. Her love for nature and the Southwest has inspired her to create these little “glass treasures."
