Come to the Friends of the Library Book Sale and find the very best titles to transport, educate or thrill you! We also have a wonderful assortment of children's and young adult books.

Books are priced as marked. Cash, check, and Venmo (@Friendsdpl) accepted. 

Funds raised from this book sale help pay for programs and museum passes provided by The Friends of the Dedham Public Library. Please email friends.dedhamlibrary@gmail.com with questions.

The Friends will also collect unexpired food items for Dedham Food Pantry at the June 1 book sale. Summer can be a difficult time for families who are food insecurities , especially children. Shoppers at our sale are encouraged to donate cereal, canned goods, (tuna, vegetables, canned spaghetti or chunky soups). In return donors will be rewarded with up to two (2) tickets to trade for  books. There are two drop off locations: 1) the Church St entrance, and 2) the ramp entrance adjacent to the parking lot. Weather permitting, the collection will be outside.

Make donations to the Friends of the Library Book Sale at the Main Library on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 9 am-12 pm. No textbooks, please.

The Main Library is located on Church Street in Dedham Square. In addition to traditional library material, the Main Library also houses town archives, the Dedham Collection.
