Do you qualify for dual citizenship, but do not know the legal elements?

On December 15th, 2025 Canadian Bill C-3 was passed into Canadian law. It eliminated the first generation limit on Canadian citizenship by descent and automatically restored citizenship status to millions of "Lost Canadians". Julian Santos from the Norfolk Law Library will discuss dual citizenship in general as an American and also dual citizenship agreements between the United States and Canada.
