Summer 1919: All of Dedham is buzzing with excitement as cast and crew from Hollywood arrive in town to film a motion picture based on the popular Anne of Green Gables series of books. Featured as the title house is the 282 year old Fairbanks House itself!
February 1922: A shocking murder takes place in Hollywood, followed by a nationwide scandal and a century old mystery that had its beginnings right here in Dedham!
Dedham's own Jim Parr tells all, for one night only, at the Dedham Public Library by way of The Fairbanks House Museum!

About the Presenter:
Jim Parr is a Dedham High School graduate and retired teacher. He is the author of Dedham: Historic and Heroic Tales from Shiretown as well as three other books of local history. He currently works at the Dedham Museum and Archive as a museum educator.
