The History Lovers Book Group meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Main Library (43 Church St.). Books are available for checkout at the Main Library circulation desk one month before the book group meeting.
We will discuss the following titles:
- July 28: The Death of Trotsky: the True Story of the Plot to Kill Stalin's Greatest Enemy by Josh Ireland
- August 25: Darkness at Noon by Arthur Koestler
- September 22: The Director by Daniel Kehlmann
- October 19 (Monday): A Mystery of Mysteries: The Death and Life of Edgar Allan Poe by Mark Dawidziak (with Millennials Book Group)
- November 24: Ghost on the Throne: The Death of Alexander the Great and the War for Crown and Empire by James S Romm
- December 22: Fire from Heaven by Mary Renault
