Come join us for a quill feather pen-making activity in celebration of Dedham Reads 2026.

Make your own quill feather pen that you can take home with you! We will practice writing in cursive with a Declaration of Independence activity. Beginners are welcome.

Also enjoy a show-and-tell with Kathleen from The Fairbanks House Museum. 

For grades 2-5. Registration is required, and space is limited. Please contact Annabelle at aho.ddm@minlib.net with questions.

Dedham Reads Together is a collaborative annual initiative presented by Dedham Public Library, Dedham Public Schools, Dedham Library Innovation Team, and the Friends of the Library to promote literacy and community in Dedham, MA through shared reads and activities.
