Join Greg West, a local educator discussing important topics impacting today's students, including bullying, mental health awareness, substance abuse, and life after graduation.
Adolescent substance use has changed as the availability of THC and nicotine products have increased, leaving alcohol a less common form of intoxication than in previous generations. Additionally, opiate products have
become more accessible and dangerous. This presentation will explore physical risk factors, addiction, dependence and social ramifications of these intoxicants in adolescents.
For Grades 7-12. Registration encouraged. Please email Brittany at btuttle.ddm@minlib.net with questions.
