Join local author, Ted Curtin as he discusses historical figures and his book, Get Smarter-Be Amazed: A Compendium of Tantalizing Trivia and Obscure Facts.
In honor of Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, Ted will share some interesting stories about our sixteenth president. And, since President’s Day will be right around the corner, George Washington will find his way into the conversation.
Ted’s first book, “Get Smarter-Be Amazed” was published in 2024. The compendium contains 100 informative and often humorous essays about historical figures and events as well as stories from the world of music, cinema, sports, and literature.

Ted Curtin holds a B.A. in History from the College of the Holy Cross. After spending thirty years in high tech marketing, Ted started writing a weekly blog that is now enjoyed by thousands of readers worldwide.
