Engage in stimulating conversation with people who love history just as much as you do! We read books in pairs, a non-fiction one month, then a related historical fiction the following month.

The History Lovers Book Group meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Main Library (43 Church St.). Books are available for checkout at the Main Library circulation desk one month before the book group meeting.

We will discuss the following titles:

January 27: On Great Fields: the Life and Unlikely Heroism of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain - Ronald White
February 24: The Killer Angels - Michael Shaara
March 24: How to Win an Information War: The Propagandist Who Outwitted Hitler - Peter Pomerantsev

June 23: The Heart of Darkness - Joseph Conrad
