Do you know what you are looking at in the night sky?
Dr. Hannikainen will review the variety of targets that appear in the late February sky above Dedham. When you look up into the night sky, not everything you see is either a star or a planet (or the Moon). There are many other types of celestial objects. For most, you’ll need either binoculars or a telescope. But even if you’re stargazing without equipment, it’s always inspiring to know what that fuzzy pinpoint of light is that you’re looking at.
All ages are welcome. Registration required. Email Megan at mcharter@minlib.net with questions.
